研究興趣(Research Interests):

  1. 以離子液體為電解質藉電化學技術製備具奈米結構電極材料用於永續能源及化學分析。  (Preparation of Nanomaterials via Electrochemical Techniques in Ionic Liquids for Applications of Sustainable Energy and Chemical Analyses)
  2. 結合電化學技術與離子液體發展自金屬氧化物回收金屬資源之永續技術。                          (Integrating Electrochemical Techniques and Ionic Liquids to Develop Sustainable Techniques for Recovering Metals from Metal Oxides)
  3. 離子液體-石墨烯複合電極之製備與應用。                                                                    (Preparation and Application of Ionic Liquid-Graphene Composite Electrodes)
  4. 電化學架接法修飾電極之製備與能源、化學及生化(包含癌細胞偵測)分析之應用。    (Electrografted Electrodes for Applications in Energy, Chemical and Biochemical Analyses (Including Cancer Cell Detection))

在室溫下即呈現液體狀的鹽類稱為室溫離子液體,這是一種相當奇特的溶劑系統。此一溶劑由於不具揮發性,因此不具可燃性,相較傳統有機溶劑而言,在操作上受限較少且更為安全。我們利用此一特殊的溶劑系統為電解質,以研究各類物種在離子液體內的電化學行為並用於製作特殊的電極材料或奈米材料以應用於電化學分析。此外,我們亦利用此一不具揮發性的溶劑於回收重金屬離子或去除有機化合物的研究上,期望對綠色化學有所貢獻。本實驗室亦致力於製作奈米結構電極以應用於電化學催化反應與分析。

(Room-temperature ionic liquids are salts with melting points at room temperature. They are very unique solvents. They are nonflammable because they are not volatile. Compared with the traditional volatile organic compounds, ionic liquids are safer solvents. We take advantages of room temperature ionic liquids as electrolytes for electrochemical study of various electroactive species and for the preparation of special electrode materials and nano-materials, which will be used for electrochemical analysis. In addition, we use these nonvolatile solvents for removing heavy metal ions or hazardous organic chemicals in order to provide some contributions to green chemistry. We also devote ourselves in the fabrication of nanostructured electrodes for the applications of electrocatalysis and electroanalysis.)

歡迎大二以上同學參與本實驗室專題研究。除可向科技部或校內爭取個人補助外,表現良好者亦可獲得本實驗室計畫主持人計畫經費補助,也可能有出國就學、出國開會之機會。目前已有一位學生前往日本慶應大學應用化學系取得碩士學位。

We welcome international Ph.D. students to join our researching group. The university provides scholarship and the adviser can offer financial support provided from his researching grant to the students in according to the students’ performance.
