My research focuses on the discovery and development of preventive and therapeutic agents for metabolic disorders, cancer, and emerging infectious diseases from natural products and synthetic compounds. By integrating high-throughput screening, high-content imaging, cell-based assays, LC-MS/MS-based molecular networking, and mechanism-oriented validation, our laboratory aims to identify bioactive molecules and elucidate their mechanisms of action.
I also serve as the Principal Investigator of the Natural Product Libraries and High-throughput Screening Core (NPS Core), which provides unique plant extract libraries, supports the development of phenotype-based and target-based screening assays, and facilitates high-throughput screening, bioactive fraction prioritization, and active component identification.
